Race-day tips
- Lay everything out the night before and photograph your transition setup β it's the fastest way to spot a missing item.
- Nothing new on race day. Only pack gear, shoes, and nutrition you've already tested in training.
- Set your helmet upside-down with the straps open on top of your bike shoes so you never forget to buckle it.
- Check the water temperature and race rules the week before β wetsuit legality and cap colors can change your swim kit.
- Pack a small zip-lock bag for your phone, keys, and ID so they stay dry in your transition bag.
