Race-day tips
- Lay everything out the night before and take a photo of your transition setup β itβs the quickest way to spot anything missing.
- Nothing new on race day. Only pack gear, shoes and fuel youβve already tested in training.
- Set your helmet upside down with the straps open on top of your bike shoes so you never forget to do it up.
- Check the water temperature and race rules the week before β wetsuit legality and cap colours can change your swim kit.
- Pack a small zip-lock bag for your phone, keys, and ID so they stay dry in your transition bag.
